I bought two of these for my 4 and 6 year old granddaughters. They are petite but I had to order size xl and xxxl because I used to buy clothes in China and they are very small. The girls liked them very much, they are very soft and look well sewn. They have a nice inner lining. Both sizes I chose fit very well, so I think they're about the same as a size 4 and 6.
