Hooks previously purchased for Simtive shower doors of a different model. loved her. I thought I would order this product for a lake house. They have no protective coating on the hooks. It is easy to scratch a thick glass door without a rim. I ended up buying 3 more packs of other Simtive hooks. I will use them to hang items in the garage or shop.

This is a great idea but the execution of this particular hook set leaves a lot to be desired. Although there are small rubber washers in 3 places of the hook, it is not enough to prevent the hook from making noise on the glass. I returned them and spent another $3 for hooks (made by the same company!) that were fully rubber/vinyl covered. Thats much better.

They slide over the top of my frameless shower door and the quality of the hooks is great but they are noisy and move when I grab my towel. The pieces of rubber that are supposed to hold the hooks in place are too small, so with each use the hooks touch the glass and don't stay in place. I haven't used it for a few weeks since buying it so unfortunately it's too late to give a refund. I don't use it at all at the moment, so unfortunately it was a bad buy for me. Our towel hook is sliding out of the wall and needs replacing, so these hooks are only for temporary towel hanging. They work well for this purpose and I will likely continue to use them after we replace our towel rail to attach hanging items INSIDE the shower. These hooks easily stick to the top of the glass shower door and they have small rubber rings to 'guard' the shower door, although they are too small to offer any protection (not that these hooks would easily scratch the door anyway). ).
