Glad to find this product. It fits both 2.5 inch laptop IDE drive and SATA connector. It fits well and has good throughput.

Pros
  • The adapter is suitable for replacing an old computer with a 2.5" IDE hard drive with a new 2.5" SATA hard drive.

44 pin instead of standard 40 pin

44 pin instead of the standard 40 pin, so it fit Not. I had to go back and buy a different brand of 40 pin IDE SATA adapter which is twice the price.
