Great for travel best in my review

I tried multiple tripods and settled on this one. Since I am short I do not need the extension which saves on weight and space while traveling. I have not had any problems with the twist locks but am still getting used to them. I prefer the thumb lock system but for a light weight tripod this had to be sacrificed. It is very light. I have had the hanging attachment fall off a few times when not actually using it. It seems to come unscrewed easily so now I just leave it off unless needed in…

  • Unfortunately, this tripod is quite heavy and cumbersome to carry around for extended periods of time

Great quality, but 33lb for maximum weight is questionable

I really like this tripod. The build quality is awesome. In the flat leg position, it makes for a rock solid platform for ground level perspectives. What sold me the most was the 33lb weight capacity. I use this with a Pentax 645z medium format DSLR. Weight of that camera and biggest lens I have is 7lb. With added ball head, everything is still under 10lbs. In the lower height positions of this tripod, I would say it can steadily support 33lbs easily. But in the higher positions (with center…

It's a low profile turret. Great mini pod!

Perfect. With the extension it is virtually perfect. It holds a lot of weight. I had a Canon R5 w/grip and the Canon 300mm f2.8 on it and it didn't give at all. Very firm.

Excellent extension

Attached easily to compatible tripod with a quick few rotations. Give a good stable extension when needed. The minimum height of the tripod may not be low enough for all types of photography, posing limitations for certain shooting angles!

Did not receive full order.

Didn't come with the tripod legs. I paid for both the legs and center bar and only received the top part. Obviously not worth 100 dollars. Returning and just gonna invest in a good tripod.

  • Light weight and versatile. Works great with the AM 223 and AM 225 models.

  • The SIRUI AM Carbon Fiber Tripod is quite expensive and can be out of budget for many consumers
