    Virgil Sirui on complete stands

Well done. Tripod. I have a Gitzo Mountaineer and a Gitzo CF aluminum tripod. It's very easy. It has a 6 year guarantee. The case looks expensive. I tested a tripod with a Nikon D800 n 70-200 2.8 lens and everything worked. I argued between zomei and photopro. Positive feedback from previous owners.

    Best Buy Ever

Love love love this. This is everything that wasn't in my old SLIK. Lightweight yet durable, easy to set up, you'll love the additional Sirui K-20X 38mm quick-release ball head, 55.1lbs carrying capacity for pivoting, holds a ton of weight, folds up very compact for travel and hiking. Can be used as a monopod but haven't tried it yet. I use it with Nikon D810 with Sigma lens up to 50-500mm.

    Great tripod for hiking!

I've been using it all season and am very happy so far. Very light, compact and strong enough even for a life size observer. Doesn't extend high enough to stand at the back, but makes an excellent ultra-lightweight touring tripod. Although the legs are quite thin at the bottom, they are very stable in high winds. Just got an ultra light ball head and for me this is the perfect backcountry setup. 10/10 recommend.

Exactly as advertised, high quality, well worth it.

Works as advertised and fairly easily as expected. (Actually the head I installed is the heaviest part of the tripod.) Easy to set up, stable although adjusting the legs takes a bit of practice as they have such a long reach. Comes with a short stand for top view which I haven't used but nice to have. (I had one on an old tripod and if you need it, you REALLY need it). If you're going camping and need a tripod (instead of a monopod) this is a great buy.

Good enough if your top priorities are light weight and small size.

Feels a bit cheap but light and short (unfolded). I wouldn't expect this to hold the camera reliably at very slow shutter speeds, but it should be fine for other uses. I will add that Sirui has a terrible approach to customer service. After the purchase I emailed them to ask a basic question and they didn't give me an answer unless I sent them a copy of the receipt for the tripod. It took the guy longer to write an email response asking for a receipt than it did to answer a question — a…
