Skechers Lighs Sport Lighted Sneaker Review

Shoes fit as expected, stylish and "so cool" for my first grader. He was very happy with his shoes until one of them stopped glowing after only a few weeks of use. He also occasionally wore another pair so they hardly got used (looks great anyway!) but the light really is the most important thing when you're in first class and we've had light-up shoes in the family that glow. forever, so that was a disappointment.

Luminous sketchers are our favorite shoes for our children. The lights only lasted 1 month on this pair of sneakers. Super disappointed. $45 isn't a big deal if the shoe will last for years, but not if it breaks in less than a month. We have had previous couples who were over 4 and still beaming. The sneakers themselves still work and my kids love their design and color and say they are comfortable. They remind him of Jay, the blue ninja from Ninjago.

These shoes are beautiful, they glow very cool, they seem to be very well made, they give support and stability and they have a nice velcro strap for my boy with big feet. However, these shoes are very heavy, especially for a child. I'm really surprised nobody mentioned this in the reviews because they are too heavy.
