As other reviewers have said, they rubbed right away. My son wore them once and his toes started itching a lot. I bought them on sale but they are still not worth the sale price. I usually buy Skechers for the durability so I didn't even look at the comments! I would like to have. My son has big, wide feet and is rough with everything. They usually last until he outgrows them so this was a big surprise and disappointment. I don't recommend them.

These are really cute boots but after my son wore them once the toe frayed. Then after wearing them 2 times they look like the picture - more scuffs! And it's not skin you can just rub cream on, it's a synthetic material that can be removed, so there's no way to fix it.

I love the look and fit of this shoe. The fact that this list was waterproof convinced me. I thought they would look great and match my son's school uniform. He has had them for 1 WEEK now and the toe on both shoes has snapped at the front, the laces are starting to fray, I am so sad and disappointed. My son is 6 years old and an active boy but I got the impression that Skechers makes shoes for tough kids wear. These definitely failed the test.
