Nice but not for short/skinny people

I am a short (5'5') and skinny guy and these looked comically huge on me, they were not adjustable to make them more fitting to my size. They seem to be well made and will work for other people, but if you are a smaller adult or child these will look ridiculous on you. I returned mine.

Not stretchy but they look cool

They wouldnt stretch over my heel for renaissance faire, and the two elastic straps ended up snapping. I sewed one on eiter side and cut it off every muddy day. They should have a button. But they looled really cool and realistic.

Look great for the money

I was worried that these would look so cheap as they were cheap, but they held up great and looked great on stage. That's my feedback.

We bought these for a medieval theme party. They look great, pretty good quality. A little hard to put on around shoe. Costumes & Accessories!

Looked good until they didn’t

All of the bands snapped that holds on to your feet. I was able to keep it up by using the boot as a holster for my weapons…otherwise they’d have fallen

Good looking well made product.

The over the shoe boots were a great addition to my husband's costume for a Ren fair wedding for our nephew. There are two elastic bands attached to the bottom you put your shoe through. Glad I purchased.

good for men for older kids

My 12 year old son is a big boy and has some thick German calves- bigger than I have seen on some adult men. These did not hold up well on him- we tied the lace around the actual piece and it just didn't look good. I ended up just ordering the medieval looking pants and some boots from mercari.

Great looking faux boot cover

This boot looks better than the picture. Fit was good, I have skinny legs so it bunched down more than it would on most. But they held up well for my costume party.

Ripped at first attempt to put on

Read other reviews, so we were extra careful. Still snapped the foot hold on first attempt so didn't end up wearing them. They were a cute idea, but definitely could have been made better.

Cheap but look good

Used these for a renaissance play and they look great but the buttons and especially the elastic straps on the bottom needed repairing after 1-2 uses.
