I love the design and general functionality of this pocket watch. The dual opening lid allows you to see the gears and mechanics from both sides of the watch and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable and great mechanical pocket watch.

I bought this bag for a 1920's themed event and it was perfect for the occasion. These are business hours but impractical for actual use. The seconds hand cannot be stopped or adjusted, and even when fully wound it will advance or gain a minute over the course of a day. As a dress watch, it's highly detailed and a great talking point, but there's little point in keeping it in order if it's not working. watch the time.

watch looks great! You can see how the gears work on both sides. Unimportant. At the time of writing this review, the pocket watch stopped working. The chain that came with the kit doesn't fit the hook on the watch (see photo), I had to bend it to fit. Luckily I only use it for costumes so it doesn't matter in my case. If you want a functional watch, this isn't it. Keep searching. After 5-10 minutes it started to work.

This is an update to the purchase of this item. I ordered the watch in November 2020. The elevator mechanism broke and in January 2021 they sent me a replacement. Now the clock doesn't work at all. waste of money.

I bought two of these items and they both had chains. I gave them both away as I was planning to buy another gold one, just received it today and it didn't have a watch chain. So if you buy one of these watches you can just buy a watch chain to go with it because chances are it won't have a chain 1 out of 3 times it doesn't have a chain in the box so you can try other watches

Beautiful, elaborate design! I love seeing the internal mechanics! good weight Keeps the time accurate as long as you wind it properly (just keep the watch with you. The internal weighted mechanism will automatically wind the watch as you move). Beautiful outside and inside!

Gave this to someone as a Christmas present. At first they liked it until yesterday it stopped working. Not sure who is reading this but if you are the seller it would be nice to get a replacement.

Press the button to pop the clasp and the plastic surface, not the glass surface, falls off. It's a simple cheap piece of crap, but you get what you pay for. This pocket watch is not the beautiful London watch shown in the pictures. I think if you take them to a jeweler or watch repair shop they will laugh.
