The playground is great! This gives you time to do your chores while your child is playing. It's big enough for playtime. My kid wants to go out after 15 minutes but a few times a day is still very helpful. We haven't used it for travel yet, but it seems handy to carry around in the included pouch. The Skip Hop Cloud Pillow is super cute and easy to wash. I would recommend buying this if you are looking for a good portable crib to play and sleep in.

Bought this to use at my parents house when we visit. My son is 5 months old and it was mediocre. Firstly the legs are very awkwardly designed and stick out and my dad and I have tripped over them and you have to be careful especially at night. Update: Used expandable and love it! Stretches very easily, also in both the extended and regular sizes I don't see any excess fabric that my child could choke on in an accident like other posts. And my son rolls a ton. The mattress velcro straps sit pretty well on the sticks and they have extra velcro straps on each corner to tuck under your backpack and play with for extra security. Not sure where the dimensions of this item came from, but the leg spacing is 32" x 43". This makes it almost as big as the Graco, but with a significantly smaller opening at the top (and about 3 times the price). It's not much lighter than the Graco, and I found the carrying case cumbersome. It was very difficult for me to put it together.
