As always a great and high quality Skullcandy BUT it has a short lifespan even if you don't blast your sound. And for some reason, after the second day of use, I started having a strong constant static noise. I've read other reviews here that say they have the same problem. I wouldn't recommend this because it seems like you're lucky if you get a working one or a broken one and it's not worth sending it back and waiting, especially when you might just get another broken one. . I love the Skullcandy earphones. The sound quality is excellent. But they are very cheaply made. The mic button fell off for the first week (but I was able to put it back in and it still worked). Then the volume kept changing, I tried wearing both headphones even while driving to hear when someone was talking to me. Headphones and mic sound great but I bought two pairs in April 2013 and after 6 months neither of them have worked. I bought a pair of these and used them for a month and a half. They worked fine, but then the right earbud broke. The fork doesn't have a tensioner (usually a slotted rubber edge), so the cord takes the brunt of the grip.
