We’ve had this carrot set for a few months now and it’s one of my daughters favorite toys.She’s put the carrots in her mouth many times yet they have no teeth marks or chipped paint, shes thrown the ‘base’ and pulled on the felt ‘grass’-but nothing has cracked, ripped, or broke-the entire thing still looks new. Great buy!Highly recommend for 1-2 year olds.

I wanted to love this product, but firstly, the small mushroom piece got lodged in my 11 month old’s mouth with her jaw stuck open bc some how it got stuck behind her 4 front teeth at an odd angle (two top, two bottom teeth). This wouldn’t be an issue if your child doesn’t have teeth yet in that fashion but be weary, please. It scared the beans out of me. It’s large enough to not be swallowed, but it was a scary experience for both of us- more of a shocking experience than a deadly one…

This is a very nice learning toy for very young kids. It helps with hand-eye coordination and with fitting different size carrots into the proper holes. The leaves are made of green felt. I was afraid they might come off or become damaged, but that hasn't been the case. They are very durable.

I got this toy for my son for Christmas. he was 6 months then even tho it says 12. There is nothing he can choke on or hurt himself on. He pulls on the felt on the veggies all the time & it goes no where! He literally plays with it for hours! Of course at first he could only pull the veggies out but now he's almost 8 months & he's starting to be able to get them back in sometimes! Practice makes perfect! Nice sturdy carrots, fun to pull and replace. Fairly subtle distinctions in size, so almost-fits will work, they just won't settle to full depth. Good challenge. Note that the carrot tops are felt, and could be torn off by a determined child, especially if they used their teeth. It's probably also possible to choke on the smallest carrot. Not a puzzle I would recommend for a destructo-toddler or a highly oral child. Terrific for my mellow 19 month old.

Seriously the most adorable thing I've ever bought for a 1-year-old. She enjoys sucking on the vegetables and putting them in the correct holes. She loves touching and pulling on the green tops and they stay in place.

I got this for a Christmas gift for my two year old grandson. It is smaller than I expected. I would not have purchased if I had known the size.

Way smaller than expected. Very cute but the leaves on top will probably be ripped out pretty quickly. With the different sizes can get confusing for kids to put back on their own. Also very random foods included. Not the most common

Gave this as a gift for my 1 year old niece. Very sturdy, was immediately played with… which is when she put the ENTIRE MUSHROOM in her mouth. Choking hazard! As long as she’s not playing with that piece, it’s a great toy.

I recently purchased this for my 13-month-old niece and although it's super cute and well-made, the pieces are way too small for her to play with right now. While I can see how the shape sorting vegetables and fruits would be a great way for little ones to practice their fine motor skills, I think this toy would be better suited for toddlers closer to the age of 3. All in all, I'd still recommend this toy for older toddlers, but just be aware that the pieces may be too small for younger ones.

This is a nice, wood toy. The only complaint is the holes are too similar in size. Wish it was easier to see if the right carrot was in the right hole. But each carrot fits in 2-3 different holes and will look right.

Bought this for my (at the time) 6 month old for Christmas. He LOVES pulling the carrots out of the holes and will do it over and over again. He is now 9 months and still as obsessed (I obviously supervise him with it since he does like to put the carrots in his mouth!) This toy is adorable and will grow with him for years to come.

The paint chips and needs replacement pieces. I’m unable to use certain pieces due to paint chipping off in my babies mouth.
