🧱 Baseplate Building Blocks by SlabDreamLab Review

Looks great! Ideal size for a 3' x 5' table, only complaint is not all joints/seams line up perfectly so the LEGO blocks don't work, but overall a great product.

We hoped this item would fit in well with our children's collection. But due to its thickness, some parts find it difficult to fit well. It's slightly bent, maybe because of the way they store it, but because it's so thick it doesn't straighten up enough for the pieces to stay on. My kid loves Minecraft so he wanted to develop it but time will tell if it works better.

Very disappointed. Bought hoping they would fit as well as the Lego branded signs but the Legos I tried didn't last. The picture shows a large thin piece attached to a plate with an upside down house on it and I couldn't put a quarter sized piece on top and leave it there. Tried a few pieces and only very small pieces got stuck on a pin or two.

I was hesitant to purchase these base plates due to conflicting reviews on how they fit together. They are perfectly seamless. Our special table keeps the base plates in a straight line. They also work in a square pattern. We didn't glue them so they can be removed. These plates are much thicker than the LEGO brand. Follow the instructions! I find it very difficult to attach Lego pieces to these plates. My daughters are 6 and 9 years old, it's even harder for them. They have several Lego Friends sets and we bought these big plates so they can attach different Lego Friends pieces to them and create a city or similar scene. Small Lego pieces attach well to the plates, but as the Lego pieces get larger, attachment becomes much more difficult.
