Slax is a modern, portable, small and fast Linux operating system with modular approach and outstanding design. It runs directly from your USB flash drive without installing, so you can carry it everywhere you go in your pocket.
I love that its open source software! The ability to customize everything about slax makes me feel like i'm running linux rather than using windows or mac os x for my computer OS needs. Sometimes there are glitches when updating applications but they always get fixed quickly enough. Also sometimes programs don't work as expected (especially if they aren't made by microsoft). If you want something easy to use yet customizable then this might be what you're looking for.
Its very simple to set up

I like that slax has an easy to use interface for beginners but also allows advanced users who know what they are doing to customize their experience as well.

Also there are many repositories for packages compared eith other distributions such as Debian/Ubuntu where most of them have only one repository per distribution whereas some others offer multiple repositors. The installation process could be improved but overall this tool works well enough although sometimes when using live mode it gets buggy because my computer…
