Awesome Customisable Linux Distribution

I love that its open source software! The ability to customize everything about slax makes me feel like i'm running linux rather than using windows or mac os x for my computer OS needs. Sometimes there are glitches when updating applications but they always get fixed quickly enough. Also sometimes programs don't work as expected (especially if they aren't made by microsoft). If you want something easy to use yet customizable then this might be what you're looking for. Its very simple to set up

Slackware is one Linux distribution with tons and lots

I like that slax has an easy to use interface for beginners but also allows advanced users who know what they are doing to customize their experience as well. There's nothing really i dislike about this OS other than its size which makes portability difficult at times (especially when traveling). If you want something simple yet powerful then look no further! This distro works great if all of your needs fit within ~2GB storage space. A good operating system with great potential

I like that slax has its own bootloader which allows me to install several different linux distros at once (like Fedora or Ubuntu). Also there are many repositories for packages compared eith other distributions such as Debian/Ubuntu where most of them have only one repository per distribution whereas some others offer multiple repositors. The installation process could be improved but overall this tool works well enough although sometimes when using live mode it gets buggy because my computer…

  • Installation from hard drive is simple, takes minutes not hours!
  • Easy update manager no extra commands needed.
  • Many supported platforms with plenty preinstalled apps available in each version including ARM etc.:)
  • Live CD can work without swap partition if you use PAE kernel.
  • No need separate /home folder
  • Has good documentation; great
