Worked as intended to enable old MD7818u gateway. Please note that this is a power source only and will not hold a battery charge. If your laptop doesn't turn on after unplugging it, you need to replace the battery. However, with this power bank you can also operate your laptop without a battery. It just needs to be constantly connected to the network.

Charger works but doesn't work well for my gateway. Still. It manages to keep it charged, although I can only really charge it at night when I'm sleeping or when I'm not using my laptop. Not exactly WHY the connection is so weak as it should fit perfectly but it does the job well enough.

Not recommended unless you are desperate. Buy a universal charger from a reputable brand, it costs more but probably works better. As of November 17th, about 3 months of ownership/use, this charger is even weaker than before. Has never been abused or dropped, sat on a table.
