No soft tires! in furniture pads

I bought these for a chopping board but they are hard rubber/plastic and don't stick well to the countertop. They might be good for some uses, but not for a cutting board in my opinion!

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • old

Rubber feet suitable for furniture fittings

Looks good. Ease of installation. Not enough friction. I give it a 5 out of 10 for cushioning with 10 being the best. I use them for my feet so nothing slips. It's harder than most rubber feet so doesn't hold up well, but that's okay.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Great for cutting boards

I bought these to put on the underside of an end grain cutting board I made for my wife. I wanted the board to have feet so it would stay in place and raised off the counter to keep it dry. I chose them because I figured the clear coat wouldn't leave marks on the countertop.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Frequency

Ideal silicone feet for use on the underside of a cutting board.

Used them on the underside of my cutting board to allow air circulation and prevent the board from warping. Pre-drilled holes and attached Β½" pan head stainless steel screws. Adhesive pads always fall off. They stay and have a higher profile.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Good feet, no rubber

They fit my knife block perfectly, but they are quite hard plastic, definitely not "rubber" -- minus one star for inaccurate description. I used Parts Express #6 x 3/4" deep pan head screws, black, qty. 100. (1), they match these legs and bite into the end wood well without chipping, with a pre-drilled hole.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Disappointed, no screws included.

Disappointed that they don't come with screws. Luckily, Hubs is a jack of all trades with a well-stocked shop, so he probably has something to get them up and running. But for many people I see where it would be difficult and uncomfortable. If you order something online, it has to be ready. If I wanted to go to a store, I wouldn't buy online.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Non-slip rubber

I should have known more before buying. These are not non-slip rubbers and are practically useless for me on cutting boards. However, this does not prevent the planks from sliding on the granite countertop as they are very hard "plastic" rubber feet to the touch. We'll keep them and use them for something else, but I don't recommend them for cutting boards if you're looking for a non-slip solution.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some problems
