Inkjet Ink Compatibility

I bought this product to replace my ink that has run out and finally installed it and it said it couldn't read ink. It will not work with this printer even if it is listed as compatible. I'm rewriting my review - I've turned off the printer twice and now it recognizes the ink, but I'm not sure I'll buy it again until I've installed a second cartridge.

None of this worked.

I decided to try this as they claim they can show ink level indicators. Not only did he not, the cartridges didn't work at all and had to be returned - after wasting an hour of fumbling and wasting paper to get them to work. There's a lot of caveats in the box: you still need to make sure updates are turned off on your printer and only use cartridges from that brand, and we're crossing our fingers! I just went back to my original brand and the cartridge worked straight away.

Smart Ink is a great deal!

cartridges fit without problems, quality corresponds to HP. One day I received cartridges that didn't work. I called Smart Inc. They discovered that HP had changed the code to trick users into using their product. Smart Link did a codeway setup, sent me new cartridges and all is good.

This cartridge broke the printer!

He broke the printer. Just before we installed the new cartridge, the old cartridge was printing fine, only the ink was weak. We've made sure we've completed all the steps to install a new cartridge. We put in a new cartridge and after installing it printed blank pages. We then returned the old cartridge which used to print fine but is now printing blank pages. We also tried a second new cartridge but to no avail. We have tried many times to clean the printheads as suggested on the web with no…

The second cartridge is not recognized by the printer

So everything is fine with the first cartridge. The second was not recognized by the printer (they tried to install it several times, cleaned it with everything they could to help the situation - it didn't work), unfortunately I had to throw it away. So basically I paid double the price for a cartridge. Sad.

Get out of your comfort zone and try something new

I was skeptical about buying this ink at first. No more skepticism as the ink is just as good if not better than the HP ink I bought and it's cheaper too.
