They work very well and I am definitely happy with this purchase. The loops are big enough for the thickest of my winter scarves and slip easily into circles. That's right, the holder will tip over if you remove a heavy scarf from one end. I followed other customer advice and hung a heavy scarf right in the middle to keep it balanced. But it really isn't a problem when he bends forward as the fears are securely anchored in separate loops. And they take up surprisingly little space.
