This handle was easy to install. It's also solid and looks good. We installed it for a few months and I think it will last forever.

High quality product, much better than expected. Nice heavy metal feeling. Be careful when tightening the screws as mine had "dirty" threads. Just go slow and you will prevent cross-threading.

Bolts are not fully screwed into fittings. You can see the shiny metal on the screw where it stopped screwing. Also, the handle fasteners twist when you try to tighten them. Three stars for looks and 0 for functionality.

Good! I can't tell you how much we love this pen! Installed two barn doors with glass at both the entrance to the master bathroom and the entrance to the master bedroom. It's a solid grip, and there's a grip on the back that we didn't expect - a pleasant surprise. That's right, very dense black. Got a lot of positive feedback on this pen! Looks great and really has the more modern, minimalistic look I wanted.

I made my barn door from 3/4" thick pine boards and used 3/4" thick slats on both sides of the door. Then I installed the door handle. and found that the mounting screws were too short :{ So I went to my local hardware store, ship suppliers and then to Lowe's and Home Depot to find that nobody had screws that were long enough. The quality of these pens is excellent. It would be nice if longer screws were included. I still buy screws.

Ordered for our office door. It's durable, goes well with our decor, and comes with all the tools to complete the installation. We had some issues with the pieces curling up. It was a bit frustrating even with the instructions. My husband used pliers on the handle to prevent small parts from twisting when we inserted the nail. This damaged the handle somewhat. I messaged the sellers and they were kind enough to send me a replacement. Thank you for your help!

I have a barn door that is just over 3/4 inch and I couldn't get the screw deep enough to tighten it. At first I thought I twisted the thread because it got tight. I ordered a second handle and found that it didn't and the screws weren't fully screwed in. I tried putting some oil on the bolt and it was always loose. I ended up using second grip discs to double and it worked. The product looks great but would not recommend if your barn door is less than 1" thick.

Most barn doors have at least 3/4" or more sheathing around the wood door for added strength and beauty. This makes the door 1.5-2 "thick. The screws included in the kit will not fit here. The screws provided can only be used with an overall door thickness of 1" or less. Good luck finding studs or screws that match the color, and more importantly, beveled concave heads, that fit the flat side of the doorknob.
