I have used this product in the past. Very soft wax paste, almost liquid. Always with Tranquillity. Very easy to turn off. My alloy wheels are super shiny. Brake dust is easily washed off with water and a gentle sponge action. Long lasting compared to other paste waxes I've tried. nice smell What's not to like!

This rim wax reduces brake dust by up to 75% only when I drive 75% less. I put it on the driver's side (as instructed in the instructions) and not the passenger's side. After 7-10 days, both sides looked exactly the same. Nice dark brake dust everywhere. The only reason for 2 stars is that it's a little easier to wash.

As mentioned, applying and buffing 4 wheels takes a lot of time but you get a nice shiny finish. Another manufacturer's brake dust spray forms layers and quickly loses its shine. While this wax doesn't make much of a difference in dust repellency in the first place, subsequent touch-ups go very quickly. Two weeks after applying, I wiped them clean with a damp microfiber cloth (and they're still shiny!). Worth the effort.

That's impressive! I recently installed new chrome wheels on my truck. As any chrome wheel owner knows, chrome shines enough on its own without the use of wax to enhance the shine. The reason I chose this wax is that it promised protection, not shine. The biggest threat to our chrome rims is rust and I have been applying this wax once a week since buying the rims and feel they are very well protected. And yes, they look great too!

Put the new Highlander on the wheels. I wash off the brake dust with a sponge and soapy water. Wiping is not required. It doesn't stick at all. Wait to determine the shelf life of the product. I used Groits Speed Shine and Paint Clay to clean the wheels first to ensure resin or other contaminants were removed so the Smartwax wheel wax could be applied. I've been using WheelWax, a RimWax competitor, for a long time and getting good results. I decided to try this RimWax for comparison: I coated the wheels with RimWax on one side of my WheelWax truck and on the other side.
