They look sharp and feel solid. Unfortunately, they don't tighten as well as a standard GoPro thumbscrew. On my Go Pole, the camera shifts a bit when some kind of force is applied to the camera body (e.g. when I jump into the water). If you don't expect any exertion for the camera, e.g. B. a stable mount when snorkeling, they work perfectly. I think the shank of the screw is a bit longer than a standard thumbscrew. Maybe a second rubber pad will allow for camera movement, but I haven't tried it

These screws are GoPro's absolute upgrade! I will be replacing all my extra screws with these! Much easier to put on and take off without the discomfort of the original design. They each have a small rubber o-ring at the base that helps keep pressure on the screw, resulting in a secure fit without the use of screw locking materials! I used mine straight away with the Ram handlebar mount for my dual purpose bike. Has worked flawlessly. The ride was so bumpy I broke the plastic mounts on my GoPro
