Excellent set, well worth the money and investment. If you have a JEEP and are doing it yourself this kit will do wonders and you won't damage your hex/star hardware if you have to remove and replace it.

When I took the ratchet for the first time, it was not fixed in the head when tightening the screw. It's like it's torn apart inside. I will contact the manufacturer for a replacement. I can update my review if you are kind.

I tried to remove a screw from the sofa frame and the socket broke with little effort. I tilted the couch back and the piece fell out. I took the master socket and had no problems. I bought it for my Jeep Wrangler but obviously can't rely on it.

This might be good for turning a few smaller torxes but the first time I try to do some important work that might affect handling we have a small crash, and what else is better is the rest is securely mounted in a torx head in the body hinge.

Ratchet broke on first use. Removing the 8 hard top screws worked fine but when I then used them to attach the soft top brackets to the roll bar it kept slipping. I suspect a pawl defect in the ratchet head. The bits were ok but the ratchet is junk. I need to order a different brand of ratchet.

If you don't already have tools like many of us used Jeep owners do, look no further. This is a quality set at a reasonable price. The set comes in a neat zipped nylon pouch, embellished with luxe Smittybilt branding. I even stowed mine in the storage compartment to match the jack. I like it when it doesn't rattle under the seats or anything. I highly recommend!
