This thing fits the wrist well and looks better than the old leather strap that came with the watch. It was easy to put on. I replaced the buckle from an old original strap to match as my watch's bezel and buckle are black and this strap does not have a black buckle, just stainless steel. I bought a Seiko SNZH57 to convert to Fifty-Five Fathoms. When I received the watch I decided I liked the Seiko dial so much that I never made a mod but I put a canvas/leather strap on it and have worn it that way ever since. Did its job. I like the easy assembly of the pins. However, it has 1 small flaw and 1 not so small flaw. A small downside is that both sides of the strap are shortened, so I have to place the buckle on the wrong side. That means I can't just buckle up with one hand. The pins are too small for my watch! The tape looks amazing and the pins have a cool feature - a little button that makes it easier for you to pull back the pin springs to install them. *** BUT - they are also hard to get out of the tape if the pins are too short for what they are!
