Low profile and switch

RPI4 works fine, switch required. I have an official rpi4 power supply in the box; Surprised it doesn't have a switch. Everything has a purpose, and this lends itself well to installing and updating. Takes up very little space on my crowded panel.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

It's nice to have an on and off switch

I have several Pi 4s and the switch is much easier than plugging in and unplugging. I'm giving this to my girlfriend as a simple desktop and gaming machine for her grandkids and it's easier for them to use the switch when it's off.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

can actually deliver 3.5A Voltage exceeds 5.4V at low load

This USB-C power supply can easily power a Raspberry Pi 4 (fit) but this one is superior because my electronic USB load tester shows that it can indeed deliver 3.5 amps while maintaining the voltage above 5V (see photo). At lighter loads, i.e. the Pi4 standby voltage is slightly above the USB spec of 5.00 +/- 0.25V as it ramps up to 5.46V. The same voltage also appears on pins 3 and 4 of the RPi's GPIO, so keep this in mind if you have a circuit expect only 5V or less.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Somewhat high maintenance

Good performance, switch ok

This power supply is one of the few that supplies the promised 5.1V for all loads. While it's not strictly *necessary* for your Pi, it's a great way to ensure you have enough power (especially if you're powering USB devices etc.) up to the Pi's input limit. My PSU supports 5.1 until 5.2. V at all loads from 0.1A to 3.3A (and still above 5V when the safety cutout has tripped at 3.6A). This is by far the best Raspberry Pi power supply I've tested. My only complaint is that the push button switch…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

A little TOO overvoltage, but probably OK

TL;DR -- Overvoltage is a necessary evil, but this power supply takes it -a little- out of my comfort zone. PS -- DO NOT read this review and then buy any "5V 15A" power supply if you are trying to power something voltage sensitive like the Raspberry Pi series - you will complain of under voltage with many of these power supplies , if you can't, tweak it a little higher. This is probably the power supply you really need. Like many others, I bought it to control my Raspberry Pi 4B. I also have…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity
