Good for highlighting, smooth but impractical for face makeup

This glitter gel is beautifully smooth. It's a blend of ethereal beauty and golden glow, perfect as an accessory to accentuate cheekbones, collarbones, arms and legs for the perfect special occasion outfit. But for me personally as a professional face painter it doesn't work with my paints because they are water activated and the gel is wet and smears my paints. I can only use it before painting, mix it with paint or apply it around the drawing but not on it.

Pros
  • Easy to apply - easy to remove
Cons
  • No instructions

Color is better but glitter is still a good product!

I have purchased many Snazaroo products in connection with a community event we have attended every year for the past 4 years. Snazaroo is a great product and I love the face paint. I should mention in this review that some Sparkling Pain Jars can be very sticky, making them difficult to apply. I'm hoping I may only have gotten a few out of a batch as I really love Snazaroo products but be aware the glitter color can be a bit tackier than I'd like.

Pros
  • Please note product packaging may vary slightly
Cons
  • Expensive

It stayed up most of the night but I am allergic to acrylic so I got hives early the next morning. Yes, it's my fault for not reading the label, but your skin should never be exposed to acrylic, it's a bad chemical. So if like me you are allergic, don't like acrylic or don't want to develop this allergy in the future, don't buy this.

  • Award winning
