The most comfortable I've ever tried.

I've used them on ice in Colorado for the last two winters. They're more comfortable than my Kahtools, seem easier to put on and take off, and have great traction on bare ice - they never slip.

Great quality at a reasonable price

Today I used these micro spikes on this particularly treacherous section of a steep trail with about 35 steps that is now completely buried in snow and ice. They provided absolutely reliable support during ascent and descent.

Pros
  • Crampons
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Light and good trail for snowy areas

I only use micro cleats for occasional snowy areas and they work great. They provided good traction on the snowy, slightly muddy Muir Pass and they are the lightest on the market so I didn't have to worry about the extra weight.

Pros
  • Climbing and ice gear
Cons
  • Crumpled
