They are what they are, cheap novelties. Gave them to my grandkids as gags/stocking fillers and they all quickly detached from the strut in the rudder. The ball doesn't bounce either. It's like hitting a rock with a cork tree and then it goes off.

Bought to store stockings and they all broke the day after Christmas after normal/light use. I knew they were cheap when I bought them but I think I'll have better luck buying from the dollar store. A little disappointed.

Not Happy, Happy, Happy. These oars rowed badly. I had a lot of experience with these types of toys and they were too difficult to use (the ball doesn't hit the bat). Cute though, and if you're just looking for a cute item that doesn't work, you'll be happy, happy, happy.

A good deal and great quality for the money. They're just like the ones you remember from the 50's and 60's. Each is wrapped in plastic and arrived in perfect condition. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because of the very strong smell of latex from the eggs. I have just opened the outer plastic bag they came in and am hoping the smell will dissipate.

I bought these snowmen as stockings for my 4 kids, the color on the paddles is the same as the picture and they seem to be of decent quality. I can't wait to see how they handle the kids' rough play, but I'm not overly concerned because I think Santa might put these balls in next year's stockings.

My overall rating is 5 stars! After all the presents are opened, everyone sits and talks while watching the children play. "NOW YOU CAN HAVE A FAMILY GAME, WHO CAN BEAT THE PADDLE MORE, SUCH SNOWMAN." Whoever wins gets a prize. extra ice cream, cake or a big Christmas dinner or something new that you have just for the occasion. I received them in two days and the stockings are just what you need for a large family. A pack of 12 would make a world of difference and the price is within budget. CW

Bought a dozen of these to fill stockings and they've been a huge hit (no pun intended :-) They're a bit slimmer than the style we grew up with but overall pretty dated . Personally I found them difficult to master but my 29 year old son did a great job and was hopping in no time - I think it's the age difference. That is not easy. The price was just over a dollar apiece so I found it very reasonable for enjoyment. Would recommend and buy again if needed.

I bought these to stuff bags at an 8 year old school Christmas party. I was concerned that the image would look like cheap ink printed onto pressed cardstock, but it definitely isn't. The image on the paddle is intact and very beautiful. The grip is not well thought out for small hands; My 3 year old daughter could hold it just as well as I could.
