Aluminum Snug Fastener with 185 Diameter Review

Overview ForSnug Fastener Aluminum Blind Rivets, 100pcs. (#6-2), 3/16" Diameter, 1/8" Handle (SNG185). I received several sizes from this brand. and none of them disappointed. These rivets are excellent quality and have worked well with my Malco riveter. They come in a good storage container. They were the right size and served their purpose. They are easy to paint and come in many sizes. They are readily available and delivered directly to me from the comfort of my home.

I was expecting writing a review on retractable rivets to be rather formal. They burst and tied; What else can you say here? Well, it didn't work that way. I couldn't "pop" these rivets - no matter how hard I squeezed the handle of my riveting tool, the shank of these rivets didn't snap off. I figured maybe my riveting tool was defective, so I tried some old 3/16" aluminum rivets I had on hand and it worked fine. They all failed in the same way. The container with the rivets has a push tab that must be broken off to open. This is the same type of container that my potato salad comes in from the grocery store. (although the potato salad container is much larger). I like the container and it's reusable. However, it could hold almost 300 rivets. The rivets themselves appear to be of good quality.
