They were very easy to fit and fit my old Footjoys. After you've pulled out the old cleats, tap the boot on the ground a few times to dislodge debris from the reservoirs and the new cleats will screw in and lock. It's probably necessary to have a tool with spikes, but you can install them without them. However, removing the old studs was a difficult task and probably impossible to do without a stud tool. Great value for money.

Good replacement cleats for FootJoy shoes. Just make sure these are the ones you want because for some inexplicable reason, FootJoy decided to make different boots for different shoes. I've been playing on a set (4 times a week in Florida) for a few months. That's why they come in different colors. Two pins go into the bar for attaching and removing. Be sure to clean the tine holes before removing old cleats, this will make removing old cleats much easier.

I have 5 pairs of Footjoy golf shoes that I use in rotation and have been using Pulsar SoftSpikes for years. Just received a couple packs and used 14 to replace cleats on a pair. This version of the spikes is much more difficult to install. The first thing you notice is that the threaded insert is much shorter and doesn't cut into the shoe shaft as easily. After I received these cleats I started putting them on my golf shoes. The set comes with 18 studs, just the right amount for my shoes. One of the slats had a faulty screw connection and could not be screwed in and locked properly. One of the other studs in the pack worked great in this stud attachment and all the others locked in well. So I'm one short. upset. It would be nice if the manufacturer would send another spike to replace the defective item included in the kit. I will have to think…
