My golf shoes had some cleats stuck in them so I bought this tool thinking I might as well buy a set of cleats to save a few bucks. It is very easy to use and removed my old spikes with ease. I can't believe I've never had this tool before. New decent quality spikes, nice and as strong as the ones on my joysticks.

Soft spikes are perfect for my footjoys. The old spikes are worn to the ground and almost impossible to remove with conventional tools. Cleat Ripper literally ripped the old spikes out of their sockets with ease! Be sure to save the plastic cap covering the ripper as the metal teeth are very sharp.

The removal and insertion tools worked great. However, the spikes did not convince me. I put them in FootJoy golf shoes and think putting them in could have been easier. The cleats are Fast Twist 3.0 and I think I would have been better off going with a Fast Lock cleat. I wasn't always sure if the spike was installed properly. Also, they seem to clog up with weed a lot more than the previous spikes I've used.

The cleats on my Adidas shoes have not been changed in a few years as I only play golf occasionally but now I play more and they are worn out. I had to put a lot of effort on the removal tool by pressing the boot hard against the workbench, but it took them off. Inserting the new ones takes a bit of engineering to line them up properly, but other than that it's pretty easy. Great suggestion for shod instruments. Definitely cheaper than new shoes. I may have the most unruly golf spikes in human history, but this spike ripper is by far the biggest junk I've ever bought. All he did was rip the boots to shreds, leaving me with a soggy pile of plastic - unfortunately, after all my twisting and tearing, the boots were intact. This device has successfully removed exactly ZERO studs from my shoes. I'm amazed it has such good reviews because for me it absolutely failed in every way. If I could give zero stars I would.

Based on the height of the threaded center post (side view in the photo - the threaded center post is much higher than the surrounding pins) I have determined that these are the correct cleats for my golf shoes. Unfortunately, when I tried them, they didn't close even though they clicked. I could easily pull them out with my fingers!
