I use it to connect my Goal Zero Yeti 400 to a 100w Renogy panel that I have on the Installing the roof of my SUV. This is the part that allows you to connect the solar panel directly to the Goal Zero Yeti's 8mm input port. The connectors were difficult to insert, but appear to be waterproof.

After purchasing I noticed that the COVID related shipping estimate wasn't going to come in fast enough so I bought a second cable from another Amazon supplier with great reviews and decided I would would only use this as a backup. Both arrived on the same day. The other was ok but the SolarEnz was of much better quality. thicker sensor, more durable, better plastic. You will not be disappointed

I bought it to be able to use my solar panels with my Jackery 300. The 8mm end went into the socket on the jackety, but I don't think it went in far enough for connections. We contacted the seller and the return/refund was arranged more or less immediately. I sent it back to UPS the same day I contacted them and they arranged my return once they received confirmation that the item was on its way.

I built a solar housing for my Yeti 150 using two 50w solar panels and combined the outputs of the panels in this adapter so I could connect it to my Yeti 150 solar generator. I later learned that the 150 could only be used up to 60 watts of solar, so I wasted 40 watts. I have a second 150 and another of these adapters so I have two solar arrays and each gets their own 50w panel which allows me to get the maximum power output from my solar suitcases.

I bought two of these - in fact I find that cables with heavy use can wear out. I'm glad I did because 1 out of 2 had a little gap where the positives and negatives come together. No wires were exposed, but the thermal tape had detached. I need a waterproof setup so I use a slightly broken one as a backup. Works great with my Renogy 100w case and Jackery 500. I can go from 20% to a full 100% in a day using an average of 65w.

When I first received this cable the MC4 negative connector was broken. After getting a replacement cable I couldn't believe that this time the positive MC4 connector was defective. To top it off, the seller still hasn't refunded my money after 3 weeks so I had to bring Revain over. It is obvious that the manufacturer has serious quality control problems and the supplier has no program. This was one of the worst Revain buying experiences I have ever had. Avoid this product at all costs!
