When I tried to use this product it didn't work, no electricity was flowing. It's totally useless. Tested with my solar panels and millimeter.

I purchased this item hoping that I could use it to connect heated motorcycle gear (Gerbing gloves and Tourmaster vest) but that wasn't the case. It's a shame because the item is well made and of really good quality.

Works but make sure to check polarity. So I connected this adapter to my Goal Zero Yeti 150 and Nothing. Which was actually good because the polarity was reversed. I completely forgot the small adapter that came with it. After plugging in that little connector and checking my voltmeter, everything works fine.

The negative wire is completely disconnected where it should be soldered to the outer 8mm stem. Poor wire soldering (almost no solder) to the outer barrel. Extremely poor workmanship and materials. I doubt this has been verified after the connector was molded. If I didn't need it immediately and didn't want to personally struggle with returning it to Kols during the pandemic, I would have returned it. Don't waste your money and time with this product!

I specifically asked if I needed this to charge my Jackery 240 solar generator with my 80w ZAMP solar panels. The supplier told me "YES". The SAE solar panel connector mated with the 8mm DC plug for the jackery input. But did it charge Jackery? NO, THAT IS NOT SO. The entrance light did not come on. Nothing has happened. Good quality cable, item looks good but does not work. I used an ohmmeter and noticed that the inner (positive) connection was not connected. I believe there is no quality control team to check cables after manufacturing. The plug is molded 8mm so I can't repair it myself. Send back. Update: I requested a replacement and received it today. Product works as expected. The cable is of higher quality than I expected and works well with the Jackery Explorer. As with any SAE connection, double check the connections to ensure the polarity is what you expect. Both cables I received are connected so that when the SAE end is connected, the red + in the center of the 8mm connector is positive, which is exactly how it should be.
