🧻 Solaris Paper's Livi VPG 23501: 1000ft 2-Ply Jumbo Bath Tissue - Pack of 12, White Review

I've been buying this since the 'Great Toilet Paper Shortage' started! Before that I bought another brand but I like this one best, it's softer, ok it's not "Sharmin soft" but it's not bad either. Think it does its job, it all ends in one place, so why pay outrageous prices for generic brands. I am assuming there are probably 4-6 normal rolls in a large roll, yes it is 2 ply too. Not as wide, but takes some getting used to.

I've been using it for 1 week today and am happy with it. It's relatively soft, two coats, and in a week's use I used 1/3 of a roll. Scott has 1000 SHEETS (4 inches per sheet) or 333 feet per roll. This material is 1000 FT/roll or the equivalent of 3 Scott rolls. If 1 roll lasts 3 weeks (and it looks like it) then the whole pack of 12 rolls should last 9 months. I hope that in 9 months we will return to some semblance of normality. I think we'll find out

Not very happy with this purchase. The single ply Scott 1000 I've been using for years actually does the job better than this material. While it may be "double-ply," it would actually only be true if "double-ply" really meant "two microscopically thin pieces of not-so-soft fiber bonded together to impersonate toilet paper." You can save money on TP, but you have the added expense of buying hand soap, as you need to be extra vigilant about washing your hands after each visit to the restroom.
