Small size makes it easy to use and carry

Small size makes it easy to use and carry, but the projection screen needs to be close to the wall/surface. At distances greater than 3 feet, the image becomes very blurry.

Better than PJ230 suitable for video

This is a much better model even though it is a 2012 model. The 2013 model doesn't have any improvements other than a meager 8GB of onboard storage, which nobody cares about. The PJ200-2012 model has a touch screen which is not available on the 2013 model. The playback function of the 2013 model is not user-friendly at all. The 2013 model is a huge step backwards and more expensive. You save nearly $60 and get a touchscreen when you buy the Sony HDR-PJ200.

Everything I was hoping for and more!

My 11 year old son loves karting and I used my husband's JVC camcorder to record all of my son's races. The JVC is around 16 years old and while it takes good pictures it's bulky and a bit heavy and it's almost impossible to find cassettes for it. I wanted something small and light to take to the track and this little guy fits the bill perfectly! It fits in the palm of your hand and takes amazing pictures! Can't wait to take it to the racetrack this spring!

Great camera - camcorder

Camera and projector work great and arrived much earlier than expected. The camera has excellent sharp images at a great price and fits right in the palm of your hand. The camera can capture photos or video, and the projector lets you view the footage on the spot with others without having to sit down to see the screen. All in all a great camera for a low price. TIPS: I bought this used and found a few. Interesting shots are already stored on the camera. Always remember to delete videos of your

Not that impressive

I purchased this item through Revain and it arrived within 4 days. I read the specs and thought it would be great for travel and special occasions. At first I was surprised by its light weight and feel since it is mostly made of plastic. I found it fairly easy to use, although someone with large hands might find maneuvering the zoom switch a little awkward. Well, I took some photos from a family gathering recently and noticed that the resolution of the interior photos seemed fine, but not theโ€ฆ
