The product does everything we expect it to do and it does it very simply. The software manages storage and editing. One downside for us is the fact that there was something in the documentation that led us to believe that the recorder had an input connector for an external power supply. It is not. I just bought the ICD-SX68 and this is what I love: Paper thin metal body. Since it has a textured surface, touching the recorder while recording will result in loud cracking noises. The battery cover is made of plastic. Very bad design. There is a lot of white noise during recording (tried to record in maximum quality mode). The buttons are awkward to use because they're on the side and hard to see. Overall, the whole device looks cheap. I'm thinking about going back to the Olympus WS…
