I bought this radio mainly so my 2 year old can listen to fun kids music while we take a bath. Sounds great and could be quieter. Good in the bathroom with Echo. I just wish it wasn't so bulky and one could swap CDs without having to go to the back of the unit. If it's hanging from a shower arm on a tiled wall, you basically have to take it off to swap out the panes. However, small purchases are annoying. If I chose there, I would definitely buy it again.

This is the most serious shower radio I've seen. Sounds good, works good, controls are easy. Like most "waterproof" electronics, it is not indestructible. I had 2 exact same Sony ICF-CD73W models. The first lasted a long time and had a decent reception in the shower. Not very good, but I was usually able to get the right channel.
