work that is simply revolting to do on a laptop running the most recent version of Windows 10:
-the absence of any program capable of configuring or monitoring headphones
- Horrible sound quality, not even close to the sound quality of headphones that cost less than five hundred dollars or even less than that when used from a smartphone. Why do the wired headphones I purchased from Sony for $3,000 sound so much better than the over-ear headphones I purchased from Sony for $15,000? When considering the cost, this level of quality is unsatisfactory.
- frequent connection loss - occasionally, the sound merely disappears from the right earpiece for a few seconds, despite the fact that there is no sound notice about the loss of the connection. This occurs despite the fact that the right earpiece does not have a microphone.
-while on a call through Discord or another service, the system sound abruptly switches to the "headphone" for some reason. This refers to another audio device that is, for some reason, placed in headphones. The quality of the sound is even worse in this mode; it is not comparable to headphones costing 500 dollars, but rather headphones costing 30-50 dollars. It's possible that the issue is caused by Windows itself, given that the airpods pro, with which I eventually replaced them, have the same issue. Even reinstalling Windows did not resolve the issue in any way.
- cumbersome and unsettling to wear
It is always, always, always on by default when taken out of the case, and the application on the phone does not solve this in any way. It is IMPOSSIBLE to modify the noise reduction setting after it has been turned on. In this regard, the headphones have an effect on the application, rather than the other way around. Fortunately, noise reduction can be turned off from the headphones themselves; however, this is extremely inconvenient because it happens every time you press the button. - poor-quality ear pads: I removed and changed ear pads from old wired Sony hundreds of times, and then at the first attempt to remove it immediately broke, which is why they refused to take it back to the store. - pressing the touch buttons is uncomfortable, each time a little discomfort due to pressure on the ear. - lack of moist heat I had to spend several hours working on it because it was difficult to set up and highly challenging to connect to a laptop running Windows. First, I had to reflash the headphones themselves through the application, and then I also had to eat the driver in Windows by going through the device manager.
