Gil's opinion

I am satisfied with the recorder, there have been no problems or queries to date. The picture labeled 'object seen' shows a Dictaphone and several (I think 3) microcassettes. I received only 1 30 minute tape. Should I take more or is the picture wrong?

Pros
  • Noble design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not a good product.

I bought this from a third party and apparently it had run out when I received it. I overpaid for the Sony name and got a product that lasted about 2 months. I need a mini manual tape recorder because I have tapes that I needed to transcribe years ago, before the age of technology made everything obsolete. buy a new one

  • Satisfied so far

Yes I gave it a 5 star rating and yet I have a derogatory title for my review. Read on and you'll understand why. I did not purchase my recorder from Revain.com; Instead, I bought mine at a local thrift store for $2.99. Yes, two dollars and ninety-nine cents. I don't understand why anyone would pay a few hundred dollars (or even $100, or $50, or even $25) for a tape recorder. Why don't I pay $25 for a tape recorder? Well, with this particular Sony recorder, it can record a maximum of 1 hour per
