    Great CHEAP running headphones

These headphones were great when they were about $10. They do eventually break although I kept a pair for about 6 months with daily use and they are great. Every pair of running headphones I've used, no matter the price, have eventually broken, due to a short in one ear, excessive static electricity, etc. It was the only pair I was comfortable running in, they stayed in the ear, didn't suppress noise so you won't get crushed. I must have bought at least 4 pairs over the years. Unfortunately…

    What about the price?!?!

I came back to write this review after seeing an astronomical price increase! I bought 2 or 3 of these about a year ago and they were about $10 at the time. I bought two or three because I've bought a pair in the past, but it took about a year. I've since gone through another pair that lasted about a year. These are by far the most comfortable headphones (for me) I've found, but considering they only last a year or less, there's no way I'd pay $40 for them! The sound quality for me was nothing…

Bought just in case my old Sony headphones

I have this exact model of Sony MDR-W08L headphones and have loved them for years. They are very comfortable on the ears and allow you to listen to music but still hear things outside of it. They used to be called "open-ear headphones" or something like that because of this feature. Mine are quite old and since nobody seems to make this style that I know doesn't hurt my ears I bought this new pair as a replacement. I don't like earplugs that don't fit over the head and don't hold them up. And…

Beware of the massive price increase on these headphones

I bought a set of these headphones from Revain in August 2012 for $7.49 and they still work great. I would be willing to pay 20€. Accordingly, I strongly support it – with one major caveat. As many of you no doubt noticed, the price skyrocketed to over $50 at the end of November 2013. It's shameless! Sony needs to lower the price or more and more buyers will boycott them. If Sony isn't the problem and some companies (including Revain) are stocking this product and ratcheting up the prices…

The best mobile headphones I've ever had. but still very easy to break

My favorite mobile phone headphones for about 25 years. I've tried replacing them with newer versions and new technologies, but they're simply the best in the business, but they still have a serious downside. Benefits • Sits comfortably at the edge of the ear canal without protruding into it, giving you a comfortable fit. for prolonged use • Very lightweight • Fits well with a variety of headband sizes • The plastic of the headband is flexible enough to hold its place without putting pressure…

    Finally something good again

My very first player, which I bought in 1986, had the vertical in-ear headphones that were common at the time. When they were completely worn out and broken, these types of headphones all but disappeared in favor of "one size fits all" headphones. Since then I've had many more headphones of different types that have disappointed me in one way or another. Ever since I started running again, I've needed good sports headphones. Going through all the other headphones I've collected over the years…

Good only if you don't move your head

I've been using Sony MDR-A35 sports headphones for many years. They were great because they fit comfortably in my ears and sounded great. They also didn't fall off my head, were fairly sweat resistant, and folded easily into my duffel bag. Unfortunately one ear lost sound one day and I had to replace it. I was very upset when I found out that this model was no longer in production. It was a really good product even though each pair only lasted about 5 years. Now I've learned that nobody makes…
