This is an amazing product for mobile laptop users. I carried around a 6-in-1 external media reader that took up little space in my bag. This PC card adapter is slim and fits easily in your pocket. I've had USB card readers and 3.5" floppy drives (mostly card readers for the rapidly disappearing A: drives), and I've found that both types can be picky. I bought this card because I have a stash of old memory cards and wanted to use them to play MP3s in my '08 Honda Civic. 8th Generation Civics with Navigation use a PCMCIA card slot for reading media. The good news is that it connects and works really well. The bad news is that it only works really well with older memory sticks of 128MB or less.
