Sotek Compatible PGI-270XL CLI-271XL Ink Cartridges Review

This is my first replacement ink purchase for my Cannon TS9020. I was wary of buying other brands of ink, but couldn't afford the ridiculous prices Cannon is charging. It's a great printer, but useless if I can't afford to keep the ink cartridges full. Sotek ink is easy to install. And the quality seems to be the same as Cannon inks when I tried them on Cannon glossy photo paper. I will order from Sotek when they run out.

I have for Cannon MG7720. So far I've only installed XL Pg Black, recognized the printer and displayed the full level. The first print was blurry, I had to run the printer through a thorough cleaning cycle, after that it worked perfectly. All cartridges come in clear packaging so I can inspect them without opening them to make sure there are no defects or leaks. I recommend trying these out. I'll update this review if any of them don't work.

I have used inks from several sellers on Revain and they have all been good but this is the best value for money. I've always missed black ink, but not here. You get 3 extra tanks in black which is a big plus for me. I don't take pictures so can't comment on that. I use quite a bit of color on flat paper and am perfectly happy with it, as well as black. I've been ordering Sotek for my Canon MG5722 inkjet printer for a long time. Since HP prohibits their printers from using regular ink cartridges, it's nice to have a Canon that doesn't. Sotek cartridges are great for everyday printing, although I have to admit I haven't used them for photo printing as I don't do that much. Saving photos in digital form is sufficient for the time being and saves paper. This multipack was even cheaper, so I ordered without hesitation.

Like many others I can't afford to buy Canon branded ink cartridges so I've tried several other brands. Sotek was the best for my TS9020 printer compared to other brands. In my opinion comparable to original Canon cartridges. Only criticism of the packaging, I would like more colors and less black ink. I use very little black ink and hardly any 270XL cartridges. In fact, I have a whole box of them. In any case, I am satisfied with the product from Sotek!

I bought these cartridges for my Canon MG7720 printer, they were accepted, recognized and working perfectly. The very first cartridge I replaced was a large black one. Something was causing the new cartridge to leak ink into the sealed packaging so I was a bit apprehensive trying to use it. After some cleaning I put the cartridge in and it works perfectly.
