I bought this lamp to brighten up my workspace and bring a touch of modernity to a boring office. It's small enough not to take up my desk and bright enough for reading and writing. A great alternative to a normal table lamp! Robust construction. No assembly is required other than adding a ceiling light and bulb.

I love this lamp! It's the perfect size for my bedside table and gives off just the right amount of light. I was so happy when I realized I had a clear cord instead of a black one. I think it's a little pricey, but it seems durable and matches the aesthetic of my room, allowing me to pay the extra money. Overall I am very happy with this purchase :)

This amazing AF lamp! I like the way it looks. It's too bright at the moment, but what's the point? My lightbulb is just too bright. Change it and it's great! The base looks amazing against a dark background; Mine is on a beautiful dark blue table. I'm so in love with this. Note: The on/off switch is a few feet from the cord, not next to the lightbulb. I chose this lamp because it has a nice modern look but is less irritating to the eyes than the popular Edison incandescent bulbs. I put an Edison bulb in to give it a nice warm glow, although I wouldn't recommend this if you're using it as your only bulb. not real gold - more of a copper color between gold and rose gold. Doesn't look special but clashes with real gold (see picture). So keep that in mind if you want it to match the lampshade. It's on my bedside table and I can see the lightbulb

UPDATE: Seller sent me a replacement. Unfortunately, the second lamp has arrived and it is also poorly attached to the base of the lamp. This lamp is complete rubbish, not properly fixed and WAY overpriced considering the lampshade does not fit the base. Attention buyers, it may look nice in photos, but it definitely doesn't fit together exactly and will wobble once assembled, causing the lampshade to easily fall off the base. Nice little lamp. It was well packaged and easy to assemble. I put a 60w bulb in it (if I remember correctly) and in combination with the lampshade it gives off a good amount of light. I really like that the switch is on the cord and not on the 'pole' of the lamp itself. This gives my 5 year old daughter the ability to turn the light on herself (it's in her room); The lamp we used to have to turn on as adults because she couldn't reach the lamp's handle.
