My horse's hooves were dry with small cracks. After using this sound for several weeks, particularly on the Corona coast, his hooves have grown in much better condition. They are firm, smooth and the cracks have disappeared. And it smells wonderful, like vanilla cupcakes.

This product was recommended to me by my farrier because my horses live on irrigated pastures and their hooves are wet dry wet dry which makes them brittle and cracked. It's all natural, without the petroleum products found in many others. With regular use, it maintains moisture levels in the hoof well. I was very happy with it.

Bought because of the comments "nice smell" and agree, it smells wonderful! But that works too. I saw a difference almost immediately and within a few weeks my horses' hooves were cracking a lot less. Took it from a humid climate to an extremely dry climate and it helped a lot. I love it, my blacksmith highly recommends it and it smells nice. What I really like is that it penetrates the hoof very quickly and doesn't form a barrier so dirt, excrement and all kinds of messes get stuck at the bottom of your hoof. Her frogs were drying out so my farrier recommended this and I smeared it on the underside of her hooves and all around, down to the crown and quickly noticed the difference.

This material is a bit pricey but works well and smells wonderful! We have had unusually dry weather this summer and both of my horses' hooves have become dry and brittle. I used it to clean the outside of hooves, crowns and heels. After a few days they didn't look so parched and about to crack. Then I applied every few days. All the ingredients are made from natural oils, so I will be using them even during the rainy season to 'repel' water.

I have used the Rainmaker on my horses' hooves at the request of the haulier, but I didn't like the texture or smell. It worked well on my horses' hooves, but my carrier recently recommended it and said it would probably make me happy. It smells delicious.
