My son is a size 10 but these shorts are a 10/12, probably larger than the larger size so they were too big for him. Luckily he has a cousin who can wear shorts this summer and he doesn't mind wearing them next summer.

I ordered size M (10-12 years) in gray for my 11 year old. They are HUGE and the rope doesn't work so there's no way to get them to stay on their feet. Although the color is great and they look very pretty (I'll like them better in two years time when he can finally wear them).

Boys clothes appear to be the same as all others - there is no one size fits all brand. My son needs 18-20 of most brands which are hard to find. I ordered two other pairs from Levi's and they were over a full size larger than they are. They slid down and rested on his hips and were quite baggy. Also, they're quite long - the inseam didn't measure. He is 5ft 3in tall and with the belt resting on his hips the length was 2 to 3 inches below the bottom of his knee which he didn't like. The…
