I bought this Revain recommended product for my DC07 post motor filter. I was in a rush and didn't look closely at the description but the photo matched what I have in the DC07 so I bought it. What I received did not match the photo and did not match the DC07. I don't know if the description of the item has changed, but after reading it it's clear that it's not part of DC07. I don't know why Amazon recommends this. So it doesn't match DC07 and doesn't match the product photo, please be careful.

These are good products and I'm so glad I can wash/change them in my Dyson. We use our vacuum cleaner a lot and I also use Dyson to collect ash from our pellet stove in the fall and winter. The fly ash from a pellet stove is very small, so the vacuum filter can easily become saturated with ash. I wash the filters sometimes but this filter should be changed once a year so for the price it's easy to change. I think this is a quality product!

NO DYSON PART! NOT OE or OEM! I ordered this after my original Dyson foam started to break down after 5 years of use. When it arrived I found it wasn't Dyson quality. I have no idea why they call it "for life" when the paper that came with it says it needs to be replaced annually, ie every year. So just for a year? This damn filter is a complete scam. It doesn't even fit the Dyson DC14. It's too big and compared to a filter made and bought by Dyson it doesn't even come close to matching the quality of the materials. I sent one back and originally ordered two to have a spare. But I have to pay the return shipping and they are more than the cost of the second filter so I'm stuck. Be careful when shopping with these foreign companies. Needed a replacement Dyson filter because I bought a second handheld vacuum and the previous owner had magically tricked the original into slowly disintegrating. not sure if and how they followed the cleaning instructions. That's why I got one here. Works as intended BUT I'm no liver filtration expert and can't prove it removes %%% of allergens and such.
