Efficient Microplane Adjustable Slicer with Julienne Blade - Stainless Steel/Black Review

I was surprised by the flexibility of the food slicer. It hasn't broken yet, but I won't be surprised if it does. No microplane quality.

I like it very much, the first gift was given to my son, I bought a new one, nice and compact, doesn't take up much space in the drawer, ideal for Preparing salads and roasts

I can't believe this is a Microplane product. It's surprisingly thin and broke on the second attempt to use it. There are other manual slicers of better quality.

Allows for quick chopping of vegetables. I use it at least every other day and love it. My only concern is getting my fingers too close to the blade and I solved this problem by using a metal glove.

I wish I had examined this product more carefully before buying it. Normally, Microplane is qualitatively stable, but it wasn't enough here. The settings are virtually useless for cutting anything larger than shavings, and the surface is cheap plastic. I'm interested in how long this lasts.

This makes common slicing (and grating) operations so easy. wife uses it all the time. A word of caution: the blade is sharp! Use this tool to hold what you're cutting or tread carefully. It would be easy to remove your fingertip if you are not careful. But it's that sharpness that makes it such a treat.

I bought this unit because it was compact and made by Microplane who have amazing products. This one works, but not as well and is potentially dangerous. If you get one, be extra careful not to injure your fingers. I recommend the German V-Slicer. Not as compact but does the job well and is a much safer tool.
