Excellent customer service

I bought this set for my daughter's Archimedes school project. One of the cubes was damaged. I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately sent a replacement cube. Very nice people. They even explained how to weigh cubes partially submerged in water.

Good product, good cube size (1 " side), correct labels

This is better than expected. Some reviews called them small (!) and I was ready to be disappointed. They were labeled correctly, the size is good for any density experiment, and I'm not sure what the negative reviews were about.

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Disappointing

The quality of the set is disappointing. My aluminum was very scratched, my copper was oxidized and the iron was covered in black paint rather than a clear coat. Some of the boards are chipped and the mat that comes with it is cheap foam that's cut through so the block doesn't sit on top of the foam but on anything underneath, even cutouts in the foam. not really.
