The case fits well and seems to provide adequate protection. It seems a bit cheap for the price and while I understand it's plastic it could be more durable.

Read other reviews of tablet screen protectors and many of them fall apart quickly, now I only buy products from SPECK and they never disappoint. Holds up well and the colors are good.

Update: I ordered this tablet again in blue and it is much prettier than purple. I've never paid much attention to quality because I didn't like purple. Now I've noticed that the quality of blue is quite good. Fits great. It's tight enough to be snug. He won't slip. The color in the listing does not match the actual color at all. It appears purple on the listing, but when it arrived it was more of a plum red. I sent him back.

This Speck sleeve caused tiny tears on the corners of my iPad Pro. As others have said, it's HARD. I once noticed tiny cracks on opposite corners of my iPad Pro. I didn't drop or hit him. In theory I only liked it because you can hold your iPad at any angle, but the sleep mode doesn't work at all. I'm not sure if the lid sits too high over the case, but I kept putting it to sleep on my own or my iPad had run out of battery the entire time. The corner of the case next to the camera also cracked within a week, and it literally collapses. my table to my bedside table. Super disappointed with the quality.

A durable lid and a multi-pivoting screen are great. I found it a little heavy when I first got it. It seems to double the weight of the iPad, and I was hoping to be able to carry around something that weighs less than a laptop. For now, after some use, the extra quality of usability and protection is well worth it. It's thin enough and looks good.

As a normal case, it holds and feels good, but I don't think it protects it from falling. Don't quote me because I haven't dropped it yet, but I don't think a drop would help much.

Compatibility was my biggest concern as many reviewers complained that their iPads didn't fit properly. I have a 12.9 inch iPad Pro (2nd generation), model #MQDA2LL/A. The product itself claims to be compatible with iPad 2015 and 2017. This information is meaningless if you can't remember when you bought it, or even if the seller sold it. If you bought it, you have the current device. I have a regular iPad with a Speck case and it fits perfectly. This case also fits my 12.9" iPad Pro perfectly.
