In an emergency, this pile of plastic becomes NO! In fact, it should at least give you a single channel tailored to the cable readiness information you need to know when the time is right. So disappointed! My rating for this item is not listed!

This TV doesn't offer 'excellent' picture quality considering it's a black and white TV, but it works well and gets a good signal. Looks better when connected to a VCR. Makes setup a little easier. :) The particular TV I got when I bought it seems to be quite old (the sticker on the back says it was made in 2002!) but even though it's almost 7 years old, my TV works fine. If my cable goes out I can still watch soap operas and when the news comes out I can watch while my kids use other TVs. Access to PBS stations, can listen to the radio or watch TV in black and white, 10 "C" batteries and a headphone jack. He is light. I like the handy built in handle as I have used it in different rooms when the cable has failed or I don't have access to any of the TVs in the house. When not in use, I roll up the AC adapter plug and tuck it into an open slot at the top used for
