Waste of Money for Weaving Beginners

The Speedweve product was a complete letdown for our Arts and Crafts team, who were excited to try their hand at weaving with visible patterns. Using this product, our team found that it was not helpful in providing clear and precise patterns. Additionally, it felt flimsy and was hard to use, especially for beginners. The only pro we could find was the affordable price, but ultimately, it was a waste of money.

Good quality, easy to use

This is my second tool of this type and I will definitely be using it more often. I love that everything on the loom is smooth so it doesn't snag on the clothes or the thread I use to weave. Hook #14 is the perfect size to fit my 8 year old's tiny feet to reach all the holes.

Between this orange loom and the cheaper stainless steel loom, this is the best choice. It has a curved disc made of lacquered wood and the hooks are closer together than cheaper models. Cheaper models have a flat disc and feel flimsy overall. They're serviceable, but they look cheap, have sharp edges, and their hooks stick better. This orange is better finished, the only downside is that it comes without a darning needle. This can be a nice gift for handymen or anyone who loves to fix things.
